UPDATE 9/25/26: Is political stability totally dependent upon “doing deals?” Almost certainly, considering the alternative to polite, restrained diplomacy/negotiation is force and violent conquest. Sadly, this fundamental political reality appears to be totally lost on those giddily pushing Hillary, Kamala, AOC, Newsom, Kamala or, for that matter, Obama/Biden for Top Job over a hardened veteran of the high-stakes poker table like Trump.
Besides diplomatic ineptitude, there is the small problem of today’s Dem Party and all its leading figures being philosophically aligned with our worst enemies. For them, there is no negotiation, only surrender in exchange for a promised share of the spoils (the doomed dream of all such Useful Idiots).
UPDATE 9/23/26: Trump’s ability to follow thru on his agenda hangs in the balance as the midterms approach. Whatever the outcome, history will affirm he and Bibi Netanyahu have been the ones holding the line against those determined to complete Obama’s “transformation” of the entire free world. Are we doomed to Europe’s suicidal Third World invasion? Is individual achievement, talent, positive results to be the standard by which our society functions…or totally dysfunctional, blatantly bigoted DEI?
UPDATE 9/18/26: The Kennedy Center has been shut down, either for much-needed renovation or…something else(?). Hopefully, Trump will drop this threat of demolishing the place and simply restore it as the JFK memorial monument it was originally meant to be while deservedly taking credit for rebuilding and preserving it. This insistence on a name change is a bad look, painting an unnecessary target on his own back and potentially an indelible stain on an overall admirable legacy.

UPDATE 9/19/26: With their ruling against bar-code checks by the postal service on mail-in balloting, the Supremes once again have enabled the long term Dem strategy of winning elections by extending Election Day to whatever dates allows them to create unrestricted, fake mail-in ballots to surpass their opponents’ vote count. It was done right out in the open in 2020, and there is no way it won’t happen again asap. At the same time, states such as Ohio that officially require voter ID at the polls are fighting to uphold that requirement.
