UPDATE 9/11/25: The American Spirit has taken a major body blow with the murder of Charlie Kirk, hands-down the most effective voice of common sense, decency, healthy debate and noble patriotism reaching the younger generation, the Americans of the future. The reality is brutal: they hate us, they really hate us as evidenced by this homicidal horror and the routine contempt and/or full-blown ostracism coming from those Trump/MAGA haters in our social, professional and familial circles. We live in what Charlie himself termed “assassination culture.” Our political opponents would be only too happy to see us totally silent, if not dead.
What remains after a seismic event like this are the bedrock values shared by those who love and celebrate America and her founding principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Our daring forefathers risked everything to provide this priceless legacy, it’s what started and has sustained this country for 250 years and what each individual one of us goes forth with today and each day, the ghouls, naysayers and evildoers be damned.

A Broadway diva says the Christian Right is indistinguishable from the Taliban; one of the world’s most famous writers tweets out that Charlie Kirk “advocated stoning gays to death. Just sayin.’”; a Presidential candidate declares her MAGA opponent Hitler/Mussolini reincarnated to slaughter fresh new millions. Herewith just a few of those brainless celebs & pols, not to mention their millions of adult followers robotically nodding along in agreement, none of them even really knowing what a Fascist is or that they themselves boast one of the most blatant Fascists (in the true textbook sense) in the person of their Party’s most historic, revered elder.
Take note of a generation of idle, unformed young men from prosperous families (all those lost Tylers and Luigis), seeking meaning and a heroic destiny, egged on by their supposedly wise elders to be The One to save us all from Trump and his fellow “Fascists.” What could possibly go wrong?

Pray the common sense that re-elected Trump remains intact, perhaps even doubling & tripling as his policies succeed. Any chance this might illuminate the undeniably hideous consequences of the Prog Way to a terminally un-awakened electorate out there?
UPDATE 9/8/25: Uncontrolled, unpunished crime is one aspect of the Californication of America that Trump was elected to reverse at its source across the land. In response to this general lawlessness allowed to fester, in particular, the wanton murder of a Ukrainian girl by a Black serial criminal in NC, Trump has the only sane approach: “We have to be able to handle that. If we don’t handle that, we don’t have a country.” Dogmatic Dems are free to continue taking sides against Trump’s war on crime that all rational Americans heartily endorse. The problem the entire Left side of the political spectrum has is that supporting Trump might mean voters flee the Dem plantation and vote…common sense. [Odd how comforting and precisely right & true those two words have become.]
UPDATE 9/12/25: What happened to this boy from a straight arrow, Mormon, reputedly Republican family, a decent father employed in law enforcement, the mother a seemingly nice Utah housewife? What happened is he went to college which, as things unfold, will almost certainly answer the why and how he did what he did. It’s now revealed that in those formative (radicalizing) years between high school graduation and the present (age 22), he roomed with a transgender activist. Thinking back to those callow years, all those making it safely into mature adulthood must honestly recall the possible perils and bad choices, what might have been.
