UPDATE 2/5/26: The MAGA base knows it voted for a very wide-ranging agenda of change and undoing damage that Trump is pursuing on countless fronts with remarkable speed and unprecedented determination. Following Newton’s 3rd Law of motion which also governs human behavior, there is an equal opposition(sic) reaction, an anarchic, lawless resistance that threatens to derail the Trump-led new American renaissance. Looming midterms are of major concern, especially since an impatient electorate traditionally punishes the incumbent for not producing immediate positive results. Still, there are solid reasons to be optimistic, not least of which is the emptiness and outright irrationality of the opposition.
Hopefully, GOP leadership sticks to the reliable strategy of never interrupting an enemy in the process of self-destruction. Even if the polls suggest Trump and his MAGA agenda are in trouble with the TDS public, we can always count on Dem leadership to come to our rescue.

UPDATE 2/6/26: Being so close to the U.S. border in Tucson, there’s the grim possibility that Nancy Guthrie may be the captive of those Mexican cartels specializing in kidnapping and ransoming moneyed Americans. UPDATE 2/6/26: The cheers from the anti-ICE rabble at Tom Homan’s announcement of reduced ICE presence in Minnesota have suddenly died down when they got to the part about “unprecedented cooperation” from local law enforcement. They’re still hoping that doesn’t mean Frey and Walz are now compelled to greenlight their cops to allow ICE to do its job unimpeded by those paid agitators and assorted Useful Idiots determined to get themselves deservedly killed. No more self-inflicted martyrdom by dumb cannon fodder, very disheartening news for the anarchists and insurrectionists.

UPDATE 2/4/26: You’re not in this country legally and don’t qualify for a social security card? No problem. In recent years, an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) has qualified otherwise undocumented individuals for a whole array of documents including a driver’s license, proof of residency, filing tax returns and more. Advocates of this status tout it as equal opportunity for “new Americans” to live the American Dream. Unfortunately, it’s also incentive for people to enter the country illegally and thrive for years, even decades, without going through the proper channels to become full-fledged citizens. Currently, 19 states offer this lure for illegals including Utah which is now revising this law to discourage under-the-table, FAKE citizenship. There is also the problem of all these various forms of legitimate ID making it easier for said ITTN holders to become registered voters without being legal citizens.
This is one more form of electoral fraud by Dems fully aware that packing their various states with illegals gives those states extra electoral college votes. Electoral College status is officially determined by an accurate census of American citizens, not by massive blocs of illegals imported to steal elections.

UPDATE 2/5/26: Continuing this week’s theme of Told Ya So (see this week’s Illegal Immigration and Election Fraud posts), Mamdani has already outdone (and undone?) himself by a) disregarding the traditional practice of all previous NY mayors of relocating the homeless from the streets to warm shelters in sub-zero weather and letting 16 unfortunates freeze to death: and b) condemning a policeman for shooting a psychotic, knife-wielding attacker and making some sort of sympathetic victim of the attacker! Ah, the cozy, moral clarity of “warm collectivism.”
The fact that Gracie Mansion is free of snow and garbage while much of the rest of the city remains buried in frozen filth reminds us of that inconvenient tenet of “warm collectivism”: some animals are more equal than others and curiously privy to a more generous share of that “warmth.”
UPDATE 2/2/26: Some are unaware that “the warmth of collectivism” isn’t an inspiring idea original to His Honor Mamdani but goes back several centuries…as recently as the last one which boasted at least 100 million murdered in the name of Marx’s utopian, toasty vision.
