UPDATE 7/11/25: It is not arrogance but a healthy contact with and common sense response to reality that accurately describes the Trump/MAGA base as “We the normal.”

UPDATE 7/4/25: Elon’s serious displeasure with things notwithstanding (and contrary to the expected fake news reports), the OBBB is a big, beautiful winner for Americans, starting with a substantial tax break for Joe & Jane Main Street, not simply a “tax break for billionaires” as the Dems (themselves heavily funded by nasty “oligarchs) love to claim. The falsehoods about Medicaid cuts are equally misrepresented by the usual suspects. Benefits far outweigh the inevitable risks & deficiencies, and the likelihood of a long term economic explosion thanks to permanent tax cuts is perhaps the best news of all.
UPDATE 7/1/25: Making Independence Day Great Again!! Looking ahead to the Big 250 a year from now, we are seeing to no one’s surprise that Trump will be putting his own distinctive stamp on the proceedings, to the total delight of what is now probably more than half (and growing) of a revived, optimistic American public…and the utter despair of the other half. Warning! Stand clear of all those exploding TDS heads!
UPDATE 6/25/25: Obliterating Iran’s nuclear capability promises to be just one of many high points in the next four years of campaign promises kept. The man is setting a high standard for himself, an aspect of a remarkable personality already fated to leave an historical mark of profound value.
He keeps making them crazy while the rest of us just celebrate winning and being American.
UPDATE 6/20/25: Trump’s decisive entry into the Israel-Iran fray should be met with gratitude by all Americans conscious of the perils posed not only to the Middle East but to the entire world. This is not the questionable hearsay undermining the WMD debacle of the post-9/11 Bush administration. While DJT’s panicked detractors claim to see a malevolent “King,” sensible Americans applaud a leader and a dedicated team that recognizes real danger and decisively acts to dispatch its source. Count on the loudest noise after the fact being denial from the usual suspects that there was ever any real danger at all. In the meantime, profound thanks to DJT & his loyal teammates.
UPDATE 6/3/25: Going back to the roots of commonsensical, American conservatism, we have Bill Buckley to thank for an alternative to suicidal Leftism.
UPDATE 6/4/25: Trump’s re-election seems a miracle after the BrandonWorld fiasco, and his goals are the stuff of a new American golden age. However, fanatic opposition has already shown that the path to those goals won’t be a straight line. Is DJT’s restoration just a respite from decline & fall or are we bound for great things again?
